Jane Grote

Jane A Grote is a dynamic professional with a background in theatre and a passion for technology, art, and community development.

She currently serves as the Community Development Specialist for Microsoft and the Director of Outreach for Make Nashville, where she fosters excitement around the intersections of technology and art.

In addition to her role at Microsoft, Jane volunteers for various organizations, including coaching speakers for TEDxNashville, serving on the board for Creatives' Day, and supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Jane holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre/Theater from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and a Certificate of Completion in Traditional Balinese Arts from Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre.

With a commitment to addressing structural inequities, Jane is dedicated to creating a more equitable future and aims to continue serving Nashville as a community engagement strategist.

Her professional experience includes roles as a High School Representative at The Art Institutes, Sales Account Representative at ServiceSource, Community Impact Lead at Google Fiber, and Aura Photographer at Tertiary Sight.
