Jana Rich

Jana Rich is the Founder and Executive Chair of Rich Talent Group, an executive recruiting firm based in San Francisco. With nearly 25 years of experience, she has worked with a wide range of companies, from startups to Fortune 500 firms, to build diverse leadership teams. Her clientele includes notable companies such as Eventbrite, Stitch Fix, sweetgreen, and Warby Parker.12

Before establishing Rich Talent Group in 2014, Jana spent over 18 years at major executive search firms, including Korn Ferry International and Russell Reynolds Associates. At Korn Ferry, she pioneered the industry’s first digital recruiting practice in 1996. At Russell Reynolds, she led the Global Consumer Digital and Media practice.13

Jana is a strong advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) in leadership roles, focusing on increasing representation for women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ individuals in executive positions. She is also involved in various advisory roles, including serving on the advisory board for MAKERS and the World 50 community.12 Her educational background includes a BA in psychology from Vassar College and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.1
