Jan Zikeš

Jan Zikeš is a highly educated and accomplished software engineer specializing in artificial intelligence and machine learning. He studied at prestigious institutions such as Telecom ParisTech and KTH Royal Institute of Technology before obtaining his Master's Degree in Open Informatics, with a major in Artificial intelligence and a minor in Software Engineering and Interaction from the Czech Technical University in Prague.

Jan Zikeš has worked with a variety of companies throughout his career, including Facebook, Backbone Photo, Springboard, SPACEKNOW Inc., MSD, RaRe Technologies, and CitySmartGo. As a Software Engineer Machine Learning at Facebook, he is currently responsible for developing and optimizing AI systems.

At Backbone Photo, he worked as a Software Engineer - Image Processing, using his expertise to analyze and edit images. Jan also worked as an Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Mentor at Springboard, where he shared his knowledge with aspiring AI professionals.

Jan's experience in machine learning and data science also includes working as a Machine Learning Researcher / Engineer at SPACEKNOW Inc., where he helped to design algorithms to analyze satellite imagery. At RaRe Technologies, he was a Machine Learning and Data Science Engineer, responsible for building and analyzing large datasets. He also Co-founded CitySmartGo, where he worked as a Software Engineer.
