Dr. Jan Wedemeier is a prominent researcher with extensive experience in the field of economics, specializing in regional and urban economics, metropolitan regions, innovation economics, and transport economics. He currently serves as the Head of Research Area Economics of Cities and Regions at the Hamburg Institute of International Economics (HWWI) since 2007. Additionally, he holds a position as a lecturer at various private and public universities, sharing his expertise with students.
