Jan Sumerel is a highly accomplished professional with a strong educational background and extensive experience in various leadership roles within the manufacturing and technology industry. Jan holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Biophysics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they also studied Biochemistry. They also studied at North Carolina State University and Principia Upper School. Throughout their career, Jan has held key positions such as Vice President of Manufacturing and Former Senior Director of R&D and Engineering at Xerox. Additionally, Jan has worked in leadership roles at prestigious organizations like BASF, Stratasys, and MakerBot®. Their experience ranges from being a Senior Principal Engineer at Rambus to Manager in Biomedical Sciences at Fujifilm Dimatix.
