Jan Scheele

Jan Scheele, a 37-year-old consultant, keynote speaker, moderator, book author, entrepreneur, trainer, and coach from the Netherlands, has an extensive background in technology, communication, events, and the blockchain/crypto sectors.

Starting his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 13, Jan expanded multiple companies at the intersection of technology, communication, and events, establishing The Mavens as a new brand with a diverse portfolio of national and international projects for clients ranging from hospitals and multinationals to governments and startups.

Passionate about TEDx events, Jan has organized 50 TEDx events globally and authored the Amazon #1 Bestseller 'ExciTED', consolidating his event management experience under The Mavens to advise organizations on event concept development, content curation, virtual and hybrid events, and customer experience.

With a wealth of experience coaching 200 TED speakers, Jan founded Talk like TED to coach over 3000 professionals on public speaking, overcoming stage fright, virtual presenting, storytelling, and more.

Delving into the blockchain/crypto and AI sectors since 2015, Jan currently serves as the CEO/co-founder of two companies in blockchain/cryptocurrency, delivering keynotes, training sessions, and writing extensively on topics like #Defi, #NFTs, #CBDCs, global impact, and opportunities for businesses and consumers. He is actively involved in international bodies focusing on technology development and adoption.

Apart from his professional endeavors, Jan is a 'Digital Leader' at the World Economic Forum, a member of the 'Sandbox Network', and a board member at Blockchain Netherlands Foundation.

Jan's educational background includes a Master of Science (MSc) and Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Business from Maastricht University.
