Jan excelled academically, achieving a remarkable 4.0 GPA during high school at St Alban's College. He further pursued his passion for engineering by obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Stellenbosch University/Universiteit Stellenbosch.

In his career, Jan has held several key positions in renowned organizations. Currently, he serves as the Manager of Distributed Generation - Future Energy at Ampol Australia, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy solutions.

Prior to his role at Ampol Australia, Jan showcased his expertise as the Project Development Manager at CEP.Energy, demonstrating his ability to drive projects forward effectively and efficiently.

Jan also has a rich background with Tesla, where he held various roles such as C&I Lead, Energy Storage Analyst, and Inside Sales for Energy Products. His experience with Tesla has provided him with a deep understanding of the renewable energy industry and sustainable technology solutions.

Before his journey with Tesla, Jan honed his skills in commercial PV design at SolarWorld, showcasing his versatility and adaptability within the energy sector.

Apart from his professional endeavors, Jan is committed to social causes and has volunteered at the Asia Center Foundation, highlighting his dedication to giving back to the community and making a positive impact beyond the corporate world.
