Jan Maes

Jan Maes is a highly educated individual with a diverse academic background. He holds a Masters In Agronomy and Agricultural Economics from Ku Leuven Faculty Of Engineering Technology & Faculty Of Movement And Rehabilitation Sciences, a Masters In Management and Finance from the University Of Denver - Daniels College Of Business, and has also studied Biotechnology at Ku Leuven Faculty Of Engineering Technology & Faculty Of Movement And Rehabilitation Sciences, World Trade Center, and Southern New Hampshire University.

In terms of professional experience, Jan Maes has been a Livelihoods, Markets and Economic Justice Consultant as Self-Employed. Prior to this, he held key positions such as Director of Strategy and Alliances, Darfur Program Manager, Learning Facilitator at The SEEP Network, Program Evaluation Officer, Outcome Assessment Advisor, Program Officer in Asia, Program Associate at Trickle Up. He has also worked as a Process Development Researcher and Manufacturing Specialist at Somatogen, Inc., and as an Agricultural Research Associate at Rajamangala Institute of Technology.
