Jamila Bellamy is an accomplished educator and artist with a rich academic background. She attended Wheaton High School before pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine Arts, Graphic Design at Frostburg State University. Continuing her education, she studied Education at Catholic University and Trinity Washington College in Washington, D.C., and obtained a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.
Beyond academics, Jamila Bellamy has held various significant positions throughout her career. She has served as the Art Department Chair and Teacher at Prince George's County Public Schools and previously worked as an Art Teacher and Yearbook Advisor at Oxon Hill High School within the same school district. Her professional journey also includes roles such as Graphic Artist II at Aspen Systems Corporation, Illustrator Designer, and Production Coordinator at De Leuw Cather & Parsons Transportation Group of Virginia, as well as freelance and presentation designer positions.
