Jamie Valente

Jamie Valente is a highly qualified mathematics teacher with years of experience in different educational settings. She studied Spanish Language, Culture, and Literature at the University of Seville, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Secondary Education - Mathematics and Spanish at Northwestern University. Prior to her current role as a Mathematics Teacher at Evanston Township High School, she worked as a Student Teacher at the same institution, 8th Grade Math Teacher at Breakthrough Collaborative and as a Day Camp Counselor at Arlington Heights Park District. She has also served as a Teacher's Assistant at Sunset Ridge School and as a Child Care Assistant at Roycemore School.

Jamie has a passion for teaching math and inspiring her students to love and enjoy the subject as much as she does. In her classes, she creates a positive and welcoming environment where students feel supported and encouraged to learn. Moreover, her Spanish language background adds a unique cultural element to her teaching style.
