James Darling is a well-experienced Tech Lead who has worked with major government and civic institutions in the UK. He is knowledgeable in digital transformation and strategy, which enabled him to provide valuable contributions to his recent projects with Citizens Advice and Southwark Council, where he defined their tech organization and managed their award-winning affordable housing monitoring service respectively. James has honed multidisciplinary agile teams and sees himself as someone who can take services from idea to delivery while ensuring that the right thing is done right.

Outside of his regular day job, James also served as a founding trustee of the digital community organising charity Local Welcome where he co-founded Rewired State, National Hack The Government Day, and Music Hack Day. His full-stack Ruby on Rails/tech lead skills, stakeholder management, and product strategy expertise make him an asset to any project.
