James Winters

James Winters is a seasoned professional with over 19 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including 11 years as a Rig Manager.

His expertise lies in land-based drilling rigs, specifically Coil tubing, Coil tubing/Topdrive 1500 series, 2200 E series, and TDS 3000.

James has worked on slants, single, and teli double drilling rigs across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, showcasing his versatility and adaptability.

He is always seeking new challenges and opportunities to further his career.

James Winters completed his Grade 12 education at Sturgeon Creek High School and pursued further studies in Gas Process Operations and 4th Class Power Engineering at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Throughout his career, he has held key roles at reputable organizations, including Rig Manager at Savanna Energy Services Corp., Rig Build/Commissioning at THE RIG SHOP LIMITED, Driller at Savanna Energy Services Corp., and various positions at Precision Drilling and Trailblazer Drilling Corp.

His experience ranges from being a Motorhand to Derrickhand and progressing to a Driller, showcasing his strong work ethic and dedication to growth in the industry.
