James Weatherall is a highly experienced professional in the field of economics with a strong academic background and extensive work history in global market access and health economics.
He completed his BBA in Economics at New Mexico State University and further pursued an MA in Economics at York University. He also undertook PhD coursework in Economics at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and later earned a PhD in Economics from Syddansk Universitet, University of Southern Denmark.
James Weatherall has held key positions at prominent pharmaceutical companies, including Lundbeck and Novo Nordisk. At Lundbeck, he served as the Director and Head of Global Market Access for Marketed Assets Neurology Portfolio, as well as the Director and Head of Global Market Access for New Product Planning Psychiatry Portfolio. Prior to this, he worked as a Senior Specialist and HEOR Lead within the organization.
Before his tenure at Lundbeck, James Weatherall was associated with Novo Nordisk, where he held various roles such as HEOR Director of Tresiba, Health Economics Specialist in Global Market Access, Diabetes, and Haemophilia units, and also worked as a Health Economist.
His professional journey also includes a role as a Labour Economist at SFI - The Danish National Centre for Social Research, showcasing his diversified experience in both the private and public sectors.
