James Turner is a legal professional with a rich educational background. He holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Government Procurement Law from The George Washington University Law School, a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from North Carolina Central University, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Virginia State University.

In terms of work experience, James has had a diverse career. He is currently a Government Contracts Associate at Reed Smith LLP. Prior to this, he served as a Judge Advocate in the United States Army Reserve and held positions such as Government Contracts Associate at Miller & Chevalier Chartered, Attorney-Adviser at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Chief of Operational Law in the US Army, Assistant Counsel at the Defense Logistics Agency, and more.

James Turner has also shared his expertise as a tutor in various law subjects at North Carolina Central University School of Law, including Business Associations Law and Constitutional Law.
