James Tonn

James Tonn is an entrepreneur with a passion for using exponential technologies to solve the world's biggest problems. He is the co-founder of Exponential Ventures, an entrepreneurial hub that encourages disruptive founders while also bringing together the best advisers and investors to support meaningful ventures that expand human potential and decrease suffering. James has a knack for scaling any business he sets out to develop. He proved this by co-founding and leading Podium Publishing, which grew from a $10K investment to a 9-figure enterprise in less than 5 years. He believes entrepreneurs are the most significant agents of positive social impact currently, leading to his investment and advisory support in several social impact start-ups. He has undergone Public Sector Procurement Coursework at National Institute of Governmental Procurement (NIGP), Private Sector Procurement Coursework at Purchasing Managers Association of Canada (Ontario Institute), CPPO, Certified Public Procurement Officer, and Management/Leadership at Universal Public Procurement Certification Council, among other study programs.
