Prior to his role at EnergyLab, he co-founded and directed Boomerang Labs, demonstrating his expertise in launching and managing start-up ventures.

James has also contributed his knowledge and insights as an Advisor at Ocean Impact Organisation and as a Member of the Mobilising Capital Working Group at the Australian Sustainable Finance Initiative, highlighting his involvement in sustainability and finance sectors.
