James Stables

James Stables is an experienced journalist, editor, and publisher with a diverse range of expertise across digital and print media. In 2014, he co-founded Wareable Media Group, establishing three successful websites from the ground up. His skill set includes new launches, editorial planning, content development, product development, audience acquisition, monetization, and SEO strategies.

Within less than 18 months, Wareable garnered over 3 million monthly unique users, reaching 4.9 million UUs by December 2016. The platform turned profitable in its second year and hosted two acclaimed awards events. In 2018, The Ambient was launched, focusing on smart home technology and voice assistants, attracting nearly 2 million readers in December 2018. Subsequently, getsweatgo.com, a fitness, lifestyle, and travel website, was introduced in July 2019, diversifying the audience of Wareable Media Group.

James has a versatile background in editing and launching publications across various mediums such as the web, print, bookazines, iPad digital editions, and more. He pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Multimedia Journalism from Bournemouth University, previously attending Plymstock Comprehensive School.

Throughout his career, James Stables has held key roles in renowned organizations. He co-founded Get Sweat Go, The Ambient, and Wareable at Wareable Media Group.
