Produced and streamed over 250 broadcast quality shows to Japanese audiences from all over the world including consumer electronics shows, fashion shows, car shows, E3/game shows, and rocket launches (Space Shuttle and Russian Soluz).  Today, Nico Nico has over 40 million subscribers world-wide and continues to grow.  Recent focus has been to better monetize the subscriber base through premium subscriptions and targeted advertising.

Created as a video sharing Web site in Japan. Its nickname is "Niconico" or "Nico-dōga", where "niconico" is the Japanese ideophone for smiling. Users can upload, view and share video clips. Unlike other video sharing sites, however, comments are overlaid directly onto the video, synced to a specific playback time. This allows comments to respond directly to events occurring in the video, in sync with the viewer - creating a sense of a shared watching experience. The site features over 180 channels ranging from politics to education to media, games, etc.

As the first employee in Japan to evangelize Direct X and Xbox, I managed a team of roughly 10 account managers and was able to convince hesitant Japanese game developers to support Microsoft.  Konami was the first game company world-wide to announce their support with 10 titles, including their flagship "Metal Gear Solid" franchise.  Prior to Xbox, I played a key role in licensing Windows CE to Sega Enterprises and still hold the record for the number of licenses for the Windows CE platform.
