    Since retiring, Skillen continues to engage in writing, mentoring students, and speaking on topics related to public justice and Christian political thought both domestically and internationally. He remains active in academic circles and has received several accolades for his contributions to theology and public life, including the Abraham Kuyper Prize for Excellence in Reformed Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary.14
