James Shearin

James Shearin is a professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in event production, management, and community building.

He holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication Studies and Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and has also studied abroad at the University of Roehampton.

James has held various roles at reputable organizations, including Fora Group where he served as Managing Director, Director, and Senior Manager for RETCON.

Prior to his time at Fora Group, he gained valuable experience at Bisnow as Manager of Western & Southwest US Event Production, Senior Event Producer in Southern California, and Mid-Atlantic Event Producer.

His expertise also extends to sales and community management, having worked as National Inbound Sales Manager and Community Manager at MakeOffices.

James began his professional journey in academia as an Intern at the Career Center and a Research Assistant in the Psychology Department at UNC Wilmington.

He also served as a Resident Assistant in the Housing & Residence Life department during his time at UNC Wilmington, showcasing his commitment to community involvement and support.
