Dr. James Ryan is an accomplished scholar and academic professional with a diverse background in Classics and Ancient History. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Classics, a Master of Arts (MA) in Ancient History with Distinction, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Ancient History, all from King's College London. Dr. Ryan has a strong educational foundation that has equipped him with a deep understanding of the ancient world.
Throughout his career, Dr. James Ryan has held various roles in academia and research. He has served as an Independent Scholar currently on a Research Sabbatical, showcasing his commitment to advancing knowledge and exploring new horizons in his field. Additionally, he has shared his expertise as a Lecturer in Ancient History (HPL) at King's College London and as a Classics Tutor at City Lit. His former positions include being a Partner at Erevena, a Visiting Research Associate, a Funded PhD Researcher, and a Lecturer/Seminar Leader/GTA, all at King's College London. He has served as a General Manager in the food and beverage industry, gaining practical experience in managing restaurants, pubs, bars, and nightclubs.
