James Rogers is a multi-talented individual with an impressive background in law, entrepreneurship, affordable housing development, and technology. He attended Bronxville Public School, earned his BA in American Studies and History from Connecticut College, and his JD from Cornell Law School. He also gained certification as a full-stack developer from Dev Bootcamp, and business management skills from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Accelerator.

Rogers's career includes serving as a Lawyer specializing in regulatory, transactional, business, and real estate development; an entrepreneur in the retail and tech industries; the operations director, and compliance manager in New York affordable housing development; the Vice President, and Senior Data Analyst at Bank of America. Alongside these endeavors, Rogers has also served as the chair of Community Board 3 Manhattan and treasurer for a winning NY City Council campaign.

Throughout his career, Rogers has been affiliated with various organizations, including Citizens of Chelsea and Gramercy, Camber Property Group, Dev Bootcamp, and Bank of America. He has experience as a Founder and Co-Founder, with companies such as Bustler Coffee, Bearing, Cowboy Pizza, LLC, Personal Legal Practice, and Pushcart Coffee.
