James Regenor

Business Unit Director, Transformative Technologies at Moog Inc.

James Regenor is the Business Unit Director for Transformative Technologies at Moog Aircraft Group, a position he has held since joining the company in 2013. In this role, he is responsible for developing new capabilities and innovation strategies, particularly focusing on customer solutions that integrate advanced technologies such as blockchain, 3D printing, and artificial intelligence. One of his notable contributions is the development of the VeriPart solution, which aims to enhance supply chain efficiency by providing smart digital solutions at the point of use.1 2

Before his tenure at Moog, Regenor served for 31 years in the United States Air Force, where he achieved the rank of Colonel. His military career included command positions at both the group and squadron levels, along with significant roles on the Joint Staff and Air Staff. He also served as the Deputy Executive Secretary of the National Security Council during both the Bush and Obama administrations. His extensive flying experience includes over 4,200 hours in aircraft such as the C-17 and KC-135.1 2

Regenor holds multiple advanced degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the United States Air Force Academy, a Master's in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Master's in Military Operational Arts and Sciences from the Air Command and Staff College, and a Master's in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University.1 2 He resides in Orchard Park, NY, with his family.
