James Redd

James Redd is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), spanning various industries such as real estate, local government, and education.

His educational background includes a MAS in Geographic Information Systems, a Bachelor's of Science in Geography and Urban Studies with a GIS Certificate, and an Associate of Arts in General Studies.

James currently holds the position of Director of GeoAnalytics at Cypress Creek Renewables, where he oversees the deployment and management of GIS tools such as PostGres database, ArcGIS Server, and AWS EC2 instances.

He is proficient in utilizing Python programming to automate processes and has collaborated with cross-functional departments to ensure data management best practices and enhance user experience on internal web maps.

With prior roles as GIS/BIM Manager, GIS Analyst, and Enrollment Representative at various organizations including University of Phoenix, City of Casa Grande, and Gleave and Company, Inc., James brings a diverse skill set and industry knowledge to his current position.

Having also served as an Adjunct Professor at Mesa Community College, James has a passion for teaching GIS classes and sharing his expertise with students.
