James Newman

James Newman is a dedicated project manager, lay chaplain, staff singer, committee chair and community builder. He embodies the motto of Henri Amiel, "Life is short. We don’t have much time to gladden the hearts of those who travel the way with us. So, be quick to love and make haste to be kind." He is a proud husband to his better half, Jenn, who is a soprano and a realtor, and a loving father to his daughter Lyla, who is a loyal fan of BTS (ARMYdad).

James has a strong educational background having studied M.M. in opera performance and conducting at Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts in music-voice performance at Whitworth University.

He has held various positions in his career such as a construction project manager at Lennar, staff singer, and lay chaplain at Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church. His musical expertise also includes being a former Opera and Concert Singer at various companies, a voice teacher/coach at Bach to Rock: America's Music School, and a soloist/cantor at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church.

James has also served as a parent leadership manager at NYC Department of Education, president at PS 124 Brooklyn PTA, and choir director at Temple Emanuel of Tempe. As a former operations field assistant and operations coordinator at Lennar, he has extensive experience in managing complex projects.
