James Miller is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in law enforcement and public safety. He currently serves as a County Corrections Sergeant and Commander of the County UASI Team, focusing on urban area security initiatives.
With a strong commitment to training and education, James is a certified Firearms and Use of Force Instructor, bringing valuable expertise to his role. He is also a Certified D.A.R.E. Officer with additional qualifications as an MOI Certified member.
In addition to his law enforcement duties, James has contributed significantly to his community as a First Responder/CPR Certified individual. His extensive training includes certifications in WMD response, NIMS, Mass Casualties, and Incident Command.
Furthermore, James is actively involved in labor relations as the President of PBA Local 152A, where he serves as a Contract Negotiator for the union. His educational background includes studying PTC Certification in Corrections at COTA - NJDOC.
Outside of his law enforcement career, James has engaged in roles such as a Juvenile Pedestrian School Zone Traffic Flow Professional as a crossing guard in Lawrence Township, NJ. He also holds past experiences as a Sergeant and Officer within Middlesex County, NJ, and has served as President of the New Jersey State PBA Local 152 SOA.
