James Longman

James Longman is a highly experienced foreign correspondent for ABC News, based in London, covering breaking news stories and in-depth features worldwide for various ABC programs and streaming services.

His extensive reporting portfolio includes assignments in over 40 countries, such as covering the fight against ISIS in Syria, exposing human rights abuses in Chechnya, reporting on terror attacks in Europe, tagging humpback whales in the Antarctic, and being on-site during the Thai cave rescue mission.

James has received prestigious awards and nominations for his compelling journalism, including a Deadline Club award for his work in Chechnya and News Emmys nominations for his coverage in Thailand, Sri Lanka, Antarctica, and the Middle East.
