With a strong educational background, James Loeffelholz completed his Internal Medicine Residency Program at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biology from St. John's University.

Throughout his career, James Loeffelholz has held key positions in various healthcare organizations. He currently serves as the System Director of Clinical Value at Bozeman Health. Previously, he worked as a Hyperbaric Medicine Physician, Interim Chief Medical Officer, President of the Bozeman Health Medical Group, Medical Director at Bozeman Deaconess Health Group, and General Internist at Internal Medicine Associates of Bozeman.
