James Lim

James Lim is a Partner at Z Venture Capital (ZVC), where he has been since 2022. His primary focus at ZVC is on investments outside of Japan. Prior to joining ZVC, he spent eight years at LINE Corporation, where he held various roles in Business Development, Strategy, Growth, and Corporate Development, and was a founding member of LINE Ventures. His career also includes management positions at several consumer and B2B startups across Asia and the United States.

Lim began his professional journey at BlackRock in San Francisco, managing equity and fixed income portfolios for institutional investors. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.12
