James Lee is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in investment portfolio management and a strong educational foundation.

He has demonstrated his expertise through investments in a variety of cutting-edge companies such as Avotres, xMEMS, Cardea Bio, TetraMem, Caspr Bio, Amplicore Inc, and Water Harvesting Inc, among others.

James Lee holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a BS in Physics from National Taiwan Normal University.

His extensive professional experience includes roles as a Board Observer, VC Investor, and Angel Investor at various innovative companies like Avotres, xMEMS, Cardea Bio, TetraMem, and Chameleon Biosciences, among others.

James Lee has also served in key positions such as Managing Director at PhotonFund, Startup Advisor at Berkeley SkyDeck, and Investment Management at Brightvision Partners.

Prior to his venture into the investment world, he accumulated experience in technical roles including Product Marketing Manager, Applications Engineering Manager, Application Engineer Lead, and RF Engineer in the semiconductor and technology sector.

Moreover, James Lee has a strong academic background with a focus on Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which he pursued through his studies at USC Viterbi School of Engineering.

His early career also saw him in leadership roles as an Army Officer in the ROC Army (Taiwan) and as a High School Physics Teacher at Taipei First Girls High School.
