James Kern

James Kern is a seasoned Wall Street Executive with a strong focus on FinTech and Asset Management.

With over 20 years of experience, James has excelled in building and leading Capital Markets, Investment Banking, and Derivative teams.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business.

James has also been involved with the University of Vermont.

Presently, James Kern serves as the Managing General Partner at Majestic Ventures.

His past roles include being a Member of the Board of Directors at various notable organizations such as Boart Longyear, Basic Energy Services, and THL Credit, Inc.

Additionally, James has held key positions such as CEO at GetFinancing™, and he has been part of the leadership team at PlaySight Interactive Ltd.

James Kern's expertise extends to his experience as the Head of Global Finance in FIG & Specialty Finance Coverage at Nomura Securities.

Prior to his current role, he has contributed significantly as a Managing Director at JPMorgan and as a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns & Co.
