- Led a team of three engineers to create the Info.com Android app, one of the default search engine choices for every new Android phone in Europe.
- Created Google AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) version of HowStuffWorks social trivia site, increasing organic reach from search results
- Planned, scheduled, and executed a full CI pipeline for Javascript (Vue) and Python (Flask). This reduced deploys from 90 minutes to 15 minutes. 
- Eliminated all show stopping IE11 bugs in production by introducing Mabl end to end tests
- Instrumented New Relic to find performance issues

Senior Software Engineer

Developed build pipeline, including automated testing and performance checks, for NFL.com's newest homepage. This allowed in house engineers and partners to use the latest JavaScript features, set up their development environments, and have testing with almost zero friction.

Maintains React Wildcat, an open source framework that handles React server side rendering for NFL.com.

Wrote a program to convert all of NFL.com's articles to Google's AMP format. Bringing thousands of articles above the fold in mobile searches.

Created an automated process to check all of NFL's web properties for accessibility violations using Selenium, Protractor, and a forked version of Protractor Accessibility Plugin.

Setup Service Worker caching on all of NFL's new web properties, drastically reducing load time on second load.

• Created Production and Staging environments for Node, Scala, and Java microservices using AWS OpsWorks 
• Dockerized Node, Scala and Java microservices. Created both development and production environments using Docker Compose and Mesos Marathon respectively
• Mentored and planned project for winter Intern while maintaining a full startup workload
• Recruited, phone screened, and in person interviewed engineer candidates
• Automated setup of new engineer laptops using Chef. Brought on-boarding time from 4-7 days to 4 hours
