James Hunter is a graphic designer and owner of an independent design practice. With a strong focus on long-term collaborations with brands, businesses, and institutions, he offers design services, creative direction, and consultancy for both print and digital projects. James is known for his exceptional work as the Art Director for C20 and Senet magazines. Prior to his current roles, he worked for both The Times and The Sunday Times as an Assistant Art Director and Senior Designer. James graduated from the University of East Anglia with a degree in Graphic Design, followed by a Philosophy degree from Durham University, and a Graphic Design degree from Falmouth University.

Throughout his career, James has held a variety of design and art directing roles, including Joint Creative Director for British Surrealism at Dulwich Picture Gallery, Design Consultant at Fréttablaðið, and Editorial Designer for both print and digital at The Sunday Times and The Times. In his current role as the owner of Studio Hunter, he is well-positioned to offer his clients a broad range of design services and expert consultation.

From his extensive experience in the design world, James has become an expert in his field, offering innovative design solutions that meet his clients' needs. His diverse background in graphic design and philosophy complements his keen understanding of aesthetics, typography, and color schemes.
