    James Harder is a highly educated individual with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Public Administration and Policy from Virginia Tech. He also holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Public Policy Analysis from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and an Associate's degree from New River Community College.

    During his academic journey, James was actively involved in various organizations and roles. He worked as a Graduate Assistant at the Senior Fellow for Resource Development at Virginia Tech and served as a Board Member at the Virginia Board of Forestry. He also pursued a political career as a Candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates under 'Harder for the House.' Additionally, James gained valuable experience as a Graduate Teaching/Research Assistant at Virginia Tech, Project Manager at the City of Wilmington (NC), Graduate Research Assistant at UNC Wilmington, and as a Representative for Rick Boucher (VA-9) at the US Congress.
