James Gray is a highly experienced executive with a career spanning more than three decades in the tech industry. He has held diverse roles in prominent companies, including Microsoft. Gray is highly skilled in data, leadership, product management, artificial intelligence, IT operations, consulting, software engineering, and sales. He is currently Chief Information Officer at REEF, where he builds, operates, and governs world-class data capabilities that power the REEF ecosystem. Additionally, Gray has a keen interest in helping professionals reach their full career potential, and in 2008, he developed the Career Strategy Framework at Microsoft as a methodology to craft and execute a unique career strategy. He is also a podcast host for Products That Count, where he interviews CEOs within the Mighty Capital investment portfolio to learn and explore how they build great products. Gray holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, a Master of Information and Data Science from the School of Information at UC Berkeley, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Union College. He has also studied predictive analytics, digital analytics, and is a guest lecturer at Columbia Business School.
