    James T. Goodrich was a renowned pediatric neurosurgeon who served as the Director of the Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery at The Children's Hospital at Montefiore in New York City.12 He was also a Professor of Clinical Neurological Surgery, Pediatrics, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.24

He developed a pioneering multi-stage approach for this complex procedure and led several high-profile separation surgeries, including a 27-hour operation in 2016 to separate the McDonald twins.35
