James Ferris is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, specializing in restructuring and advisory services.

He leads the Bermuda Advisory practice, offering insights and value to clients across the industry lifecycle, from start-up to wind-down/exit.

With a background in both solvent and insolvent restructuring, James has provided support to boards of financial services companies and facilitated significant M&A transactions within the London Market.

His expertise extends to supporting clients in Europe and Africa with regulatory compliance, orderly wind-down planning, and recovery and resolution.

Notable assignments in his career include conducting insurance operations sales mandates, negotiating settlements for international brokers, and assisting major banks with recovery and wind-down plans.

James also specializes in managing corporate pension liabilities and longevity risks through innovative pension solutions utilizing Captive insurers.

In addition to his professional roles, James serves as a Provisional Liquidator or liquidator for various Bermuda entities and permit companies.

He holds educational qualifications from ACCA and The University of Hull, with studies in FCCA, Business valuation, Mathematics, and FS specialist programs.
