James Cowan

James Cowan is an experienced editor and writer, currently serving as the Editor of Report on Business magazine at Globe and Mail. Previously, he held the position of Managing Editor, Special Projects at Maclean's, overseeing high-profile special projects and university rankings. He spent several years at Canadian Business, starting as a Senior Writer and later serving as Deputy Editor and ultimately as Editor-in-chief. Cowan also has experience in journalism, having worked as a reporter at National Post, Inc. and as an Associate Editor at Saturday Night Magazine. He studied English Literature at McGill University and attended University of Toronto Schools.
