James Young is the Enterprise Data Center lead at CommScope, where he oversees strategy and provides leadership to product and field teams globally. He has a strong background in the telecommunications and data center sectors, having held various roles in sales, marketing, and operations throughout his career. Before joining CommScope, he worked with companies such as Tyco Electronics/AMP and Anixter, gaining extensive experience in OEM products and network solutions.12
James holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario and is recognized as a Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD) as well as a Certified Data Center Design Professional (CDCP). His expertise is particularly relevant in today's fast-evolving data center environment, which demands low-latency and high-bandwidth connectivity solutions.1
Currently based in Plano, Texas, James has also served in leadership capacities in Japan and Korea, further broadening his international experience within the industry.2
