James Buxton

Dr. James Buxton is a seasoned professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the healthcare and investment sectors. He obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a major in Healthcare Management from The Wharton School and holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from UCL. Additionally, he completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Medical Science with Surgical Science, achieving a 1st Class distinction. Dr. Buxton also pursued his International Baccalaureate at King's College School Wimbledon.

Throughout his career, Dr. Buxton has held prominent positions in reputable organizations. Currently, he serves as a Senior Associate at New Enterprise Associates (NEA), showcasing his expertise in healthcare investment and strategic planning. Previously, he gained valuable experience as an Intern at SR One Capital Management and as an Investment Banking Summer Associate at Morgan Stanley. Dr. Buxton has also contributed his medical acumen as a Core Surgical Trainee at NHS, a Clinical Strategist at Locum's Nest, and a Clinical Fellow in Cardiothoracic Surgery at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
