James Blewett is a seasoned professional with a diverse background encompassing accountancy, corporate finance, and development across Central and Eastern Europe, Asia, and Africa for the past two decades.

He has honed his skills in private sector development, business enabling environment reform, value chain and market development, as well as frontier market impact investment, and investment incentive mechanisms.

His experience includes managing projects funded by various bilateral and multilateral donor agencies in fragile and conflict-affected states, designing challenge funds, and engaging in programme design and review assignments.

Aside from his development work, James is an active personal investor in Afghanistan, driven by the belief that facilitating and incentivizing private sector investment is crucial for sustainable and inclusive growth. He finds joy in collaborating with exceptional individuals in extraordinary locations.
