James Balzer, MSusDev, is a problem-solver dedicated to tackling Sustainable Development challenges globally. With a background in Sustainable Development, he has worked in various sectors such as social enterprise, think tanks, NGOs, and government institutions across different countries including Australia, Timor-Leste, Malawi, Indonesia, Singapore, and China.

James has a strong focus on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and has extensive experience in social entrepreneurship, project management, and Sustainable Development policy. His expertise spans diverse areas such as agriculture, renewable energy, MedTech, sustainable commercialism, Water & Sanitation, urban greening, and international cooperation.

Drawing from his entrepreneurial background, James finds valuable lessons applicable to Sustainable Development policy and other professional realms. He thrives in navigating complex and 'wicked problems', leveraging his analytical and strategic mindset to address contemporary challenges effectively.

James's educational background includes a Master of Sustainable Development and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Macquarie University.
