Jama Mohamed graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering from Caltech and pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital at UCLA Anderson School of Management after completing his education at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.

Throughout his career, Jama Mohamed has held key roles in several organizations including being a Principal Engineer and Team-lead at VideoAmp, a Founder at DereProject, an Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) at The Fund, a Business Associate at Techstars, and an Associate Intern at PLG Ventures.

Jama Mohamed has also showcased his entrepreneurial spirit through founding and leading various ventures such as Sahara, Herth, Astrogro, and JM Technologies IO, displaying his expertise in technology, business development, and leadership.

His engineering experience is evident from his roles as an Electrical Engineer at MOTIVO Engineering, an FPGA Architect at Ixia, and a Researcher at the California Institute of Technology. He has also gained valuable industry exposure through internships at NTT Corporation and SAIC, honing his skills in programming and research.
