Jakub Háva is a Spark enthusiast and an experienced Java, Scala, and Python engineer currently involved in H2O.ai's Feature Store project. His educational background includes a Master's degree in Software Engineering with a focus on Computer Software Engineering and Distributed Computing from Charles University in Prague, as well as Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science from the University of Portsmouth and Theoretical Computer Science from Charles University in Prague.
Jakub has held various roles at H2O.ai, ranging from Lead Software Engineer to Senior Software Engineer. Prior to joining H2O.ai, he worked as a Programmer in C# at COPS Financial Systems, s.r.o., and as a Network Technician at JHComp s.r.o. His interests extend beyond the tech world, as he is passionate about exploring new cultures, understanding human behavior, and enjoying activities like tea, mountains, and slack-lining.
