Jake Stika

Jake Stika is a passionate speaker and facilitator who focuses on gender-based issues related to the social and emotional development of young men, men's health and well-being in communities, and gender equity in workplaces.

He has been recognized for his work, including being named one of Avenue Magazine's Top 40 Under 40 and receiving accolades from Ashoka, the British Council, and the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion.

Jake has spoken at the United Nations, participated in the UN Women Safe Cities Initiative Global Forum, and serves as an advisor to organizations like the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women in Sport (CAAWS) and the Calgary Immigrant Women's Association (CIWA).

His educational background includes studying at Seth Godin's altMBA, earning a Nonprofit Management Extension Certificate from Mount Royal University, a Bachelor of Applied Business in International Commerce & Global Development from Niagara College, and International Studies of Global Management from Hochschule Bremen.

Jake has held various roles in different organizations, including being the Co-founder & Executive Director at Next Gen Men, Chief Equity Leader at Equity Leaders, Entrepreneur Director at VA Angels, Business Development & Sales Coordinator at EZ-Robot, Marketing Coordinator at DistributionNOW, Market and Business Developer at Neolive, and roles in research and student ambassadorship at institutions like Niagara College and Instituto Federal da Bahia.
