Jake Shasteen

Jake Shasteen is an agile full stack software engineer with a passion for developing and deploying testable, extensible, and well-documented web applications. His goal is to create code that is easily inheritable by other developers, emphasizing effective and empathetic communication in both his code and business relationships. He has strong technical expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, Express, Angular, React / React-native, jQuery, CSS, ES2015, RESTful practices, Socket.io, MongoDB / Mongoose, and MySQL. Additionally, he is experienced in Scrum, Python, Git, Stripe API, Linux, D3.js, Bootstrap, OAuth, Passport, PHP, Mocha, Chai, and Karma. Jake's educational background includes studying Advanced Software Engineering Immersive at Hack Reactor and earning a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
