Jake Sablosky

Jake Sablosky is a seasoned Project Manager and prospective Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) within the field of environmental consulting in New Jersey.

His expertise spans all phases of remediation, from conducting Environmental Site Assessments and Preliminary Assessments to overseeing Remedial Action and the issuance of Response Action Outcomes (RAOs).

Jake has a proven track record of handling diverse projects, including Spill Act Discharge, underground storage tank (UST), and Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA) cases for a wide range of clients from the public and private sectors.

He is adept at developing Site Specific Impact to Groundwater (IGW) soil pathways as per New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) guidelines, utilizing various techniques such as the synthetic precipitation leaching procedure (SPLP), SESOIL modeling, Soil-Water Partition Equation, and immobile chemical evaluations.

In addition to his strong technical background, Jake excels in designing and implementing remediation systems like air sparge, multi-phase extraction (MPE), in-situ chemical oxidation, vapor mitigation, and mobile enhanced fluid recovery (EFR) to address environmental challenges effectively.

With his project management skills, Jake has successfully supervised and coordinated contractors on various projects, including a notable historic site rehabilitation endeavor that involved collaboration with architects, archaeologists, structural engineers, and excavation crews simultaneously.

Fieldwork is where Jake thrives, demonstrating expertise in overseeing different drilling methods in overburden and bedrock, logging soil and rock cores for environmental and geotechnical purposes, and executing diverse soil and groundwater sampling techniques.

Jake Sablosky pursued his academic interests by studying Adolescent Education at Pace University, obtaining a BS in Earth and Environmental Science from Lehigh University, and completing his high school education at The Peddie School.
