Jake Hertz

Jake Hertz is a highly educated individual with a passion for history, education, and technology. He holds a Master's degree in History from Brown University and a Bachelor's degree in Government from Wesleyan University. He also studied at Georgetown University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he excelled with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
In his pursuit of knowledge and skills, Jake studied Full Stack Software Development and acquired expertise in Node, Express, React/Redux, and Postgres. His versatile background allowed him to work at various organizations in different roles that utilized his unique skill set.
Currently, Jake serves as a History and Math Teacher at Rodeph Sholom School, where he shares his love and knowledge of history and math with students. Before that, he worked as a Program & Communications Associate and Program Associate at Pro Bono Net, where he developed communication strategies and managed web content.
Jake also gained experience in creative services, research visualization and design, and operations. He worked at BerlinRosen, Middle East Institute, and NYC Department of Parks & Recreation, respectively, where he honed his ability to create visual content, conduct research, and manage operations.
Jake's diverse background allowed him to become a jack-of-all-trades, with expertise in history, education, technology, communication, and operations.
