Jake Berlin

Jake Berlin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, particularly in clean energy and sustainability. He served as the Program Manager for Tech to Market at NYSERDA (New York State Energy Research and Development Authority) from October 2021 to April 2023. In this role, he was involved in engaging startups and emerging companies to commercialize and scale promising climate tech solutions, contributing to New York's ambitious climate goals.134

Following his role at NYSERDA, Jake Berlin became the Vice President of Front-of-the-Meter Solutions at Stem, Inc. in September 2023. Stem, Inc. is a global leader in AI-driven clean energy solutions, focusing on energy storage, solar, and electric vehicles.12 Additionally, he has been an Adjunct Professor at NYU Stern School of Business since January 2023, where he teaches a course on driving market solutions for clean energy.1

Jake holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA from Brown University. His career spans various leadership roles in companies such as ICF, New York Power Authority, and Rentricity.25 He is also noted for his contributions to the Scale For ClimateTech program, which supports manufacturing scale-up within climate tech.3
