Direct a team of engineering managers who maintain oversight of current product design, maintain on-going product line support, control cost, enhance product features & design to ensure customer satisfaction, and ensure continuing compliance to applicable regulations.

Multi-site engineering offices in Houston, TX, Orange, CA, Edmonton, AB, and McAlester, OK.

Creating and maintaining engineering budgets.

Work with the engineering management team to develop and implement engineering strategies that align with company goals.

Coordinate projects and engineering duties between groups of various engineering disciplines.

Ensure offsite and international manufacturing locations receive engineering support.

Coordinate and support aftermarket and field service domestically and internationally.

- Successfully managing the completion of simple and complex projects.
- Prioritize projects among various product lines to ensure that all engineering work is completed in time to address market demands.
- Create and manage detailed project scope descriptions, cost estimates and implementation strategies for small and large scale projects.
- Responsible for the ensuring compliance to standard engineering practices and quality standards.
- Provide oversight to ensure product designs meet the market requirements prior to product launch and to correct design and component problems that are discovered after product launch.

Senior Manager Product Engineering

Responsible for managing a team of mechanical engineers across projects in the conception, design, documentation, validation and manufacturing release of new products as well as enhancing existing products to meet the needs of customers. Responsible for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams of hydraulic, electrical and software engineers to complete projects.

Essential duties and responsibilities included:
- Providing technical oversight to engineering team.
- Serve as a mentor to junior staff.
- Implement engineering best practices.
- Oversee Iron Roughneck product line in all phases of the product development life cycle, including design, implementation, verification, qualification, manufacturing launch, and field product support.
- Plan, schedule, direct, and coordinate the engineering activities to support company goals, objectives, and profitability.
- Research and recommend design concepts, materials, manufacturing processes, and components for new and existing products.
- Oversee the research and development of new products.
- Recruit employees and oversee the development and training of current staff.
- Coordinating with hydraulic, controls, and electrical engineering teams to develop & support design.

Engineering Manager

Mechanical Engineer in the Iron Roughneck product group, responsible for launching new products, projects, and processes. Worked closely with marketing, project management, operations, suppliers, and a multidisciplinary engineering team to design heavy machinery used for oil and gas drilling.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Transforming requirements into profitable products.
- Develop engineering requirements and specifications.
- Create concept, layout, and detail designs.
- Complete engineering calculations and analysis.
- Define testing protocol and acceptance criteria for new designs.
- Creating and releasing of technical product documentation and design documentation.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Iron Roughnecks providing technical feedback and decision making.
- Mechanical design.
- Coordinate design tasks with team members.
- Specify hydraulic requirements.
- Coordinate with hydraulic engineer to develop & troubleshoot hydraulic control system.
- Coordinate with electrical engineer to develop & troubleshoot electrical control system.
- Lead internal and external design reviews. Create and manage design file.
- Prototype and test designs to improve performance.
- Participate in sourcing decisions.

Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer in the Seating product group, responsible designing seating release mechanisms for major automotive OEMs.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Interpreting customer specifications and designing mechanisms to meet specifications.
- Performing engineering calculations, material selection, leading design reviews, and design for manufacturing reviews.
- Building prototypes, developing test specifications, and testing products.
- Providing engineering support for to onsite and international manufacturing.
- Designed components for plastic injection molding and die casting.
- Recruit and manage engineering interns.
